¿Qué es Open Source / Código Abierto?
Según la OSI (Open Source Initiative), los programas de código abierto se caracterizan por los principios:
- Redistribución sin restricciones por interés comercial, inclusión del código fuente.
- Permiso de software derivado, respeto al código fuente del autor.
Además, no se permite discriminación a personas, grupos, o áreas de trabajo, la distribución de la licencia en condiciones de que no sea específica de un producto, no hacer restricciones a otro software y ser neutral desde el punto de vista tecnológico.
